About me:
I'm a 41 year-old divorced male. I was married for 10 years, divorced in 2008, and I have one daughter, Maya, who was born in June 2003.
My faith is very important to me. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1979 at a Billy Graham Crusade when I was 10. I was raised Episcopalian but became Catholic when I was 19. However I pretty much stopped going to church when I got married because she was not religious. But after I was divorced I began looking for a good bible-based church. I actually posted that as my facebook status. Several people recommended this church: http://stfchurch.com It just so happens it's down the street from my parents' house so I had driven by it many times. And my dad had commented about how active it looked every night of the week. So long story short, I visited in March 2009, joined in June and was baptized in September. And I couldn't be happier.
Other than that, some of my interests include outdoor activities, sports, reading, movies and travel
What I'm looking for:
Other like-minded people.
What I'm not looking for:
Anyone who feels like they have to be right all the time.
I try to post every day. I'm not much into memes so most of my postings are about what's going on in my everyday life. So if you see anything you find interesting, by all means feel free to drop me a note.
